Like our lives, the life of a church will ebb and flow. This past week has been an eventful week in the life of Agape Baptist Church and I am filled with joy and gratitude as I reflect on it.

On Tuesday afternoon, our Luella Merrett Elementary School After School Program came to a grand conclusion. Each of our groups did a presentation for family and friends. We had a great time and are so proud of these kiddos!

On Friday evening, our annual Global Missions Banquet was a great time of storytelling and fellowship. We heard of wonderful, kingdom-work going on all over the globe and were compelled to join this work through our offering for global missions. Partnering with CBF in this manner, we are able to support the ongoing work of dedicated kingdom-workers. It was a great evening together and we were honored to have Jade and Shelah Acker with us from Uganda.

On Sunday afternoon, we celebrated the graduation of two women from the Christian Women’s Job Corps program! What a joy it was to come alongside these women and cheer them on. Maria and Rachel have worked hard and as they step out of the CWJC program and into the world, we know that they will do well.

I’m grateful for weeks like these when the life of our beloved church is plainly visible to see. For this life, I’m grateful to God.

Peace to you,

A Week in the Life…
