Bible Study Ministry
Preschool and Children
Our Bible-based curriculum for preschoolers and children provides learning experiences relating to God the Father, Jesus, the Bible, church, self, others, the natural world and family. Our program provides for age-appropriate learning experiences for each child, as well as an opportunity for creativity, discovery, exploring, constructing, use of senses and wholesome relationships. Our goal is to put into practice the Bible verses and truths being taught. Recognizing the home is the center of each child’s life, we seek to work hand-in-hand with parents as they guide in spiritual growth of their children. Bible study provides an important regular teaching time for guiding Bible learning with our preschoolers and children. Committed Christian adults teach Biblical principles and the application of these truths each Sunday.
The youth group focuses on teaching God’s word and how to apply it to the everyday lives of our students. The lessons and fellowship give added support to our teens in maturing their relationship with Christ. We strive to teach teenagers how to stand strong in the faith through Biblical teaching and application.
The Adult Bible Study Classes allow individuals to participate in Bible study and fellowship in the class of their choosing. There is an opening assembly that provides the opporutnity for fellowship, announcements, sharing of concerns, and prayer. Members and guests also spend time fellowshipping, sharing concerns, and praying. Classes select the Bible-based material they determine best suits the requirements of their members. The following are the specific Adult Bible Study Classes:
- One Young Adult Co-Educational Class
- Three Co-Educational Classes
- Three International Classes
- Five Ladies Classes
- Two Men’s Classes
- One Singles Class
Additionally, two off-campus Bible study classes are conducted weekly: one at Broadway Plaza and the other at Courtyards Assisted Living facility.
