- This course
explores the biblical, historical, and theological
foundations of Christian ethics. It also equips the
student to apply these foundational elements in decision
making on current issues such as substance abuse,
family, race, biomedical ethics, economics, and
politics. Two Units.

Readers who are members of Agape—no charge; Readers who
are not members — $40; Students enrolled at BHCTI— $250.
Readers who complete this course may apply it towards one of
the four. Readers Certificates in Ministry Advanced Training
for lay leadership.

Larry
Ashlock is a Fellow, Director of the D.Min. program, and
Professor of Pastoral Leadership and Ethics at B.H. Carroll
Theological Institute. He holds the Ph.D in Ethics and
Medical Ethics from The Open University (UK), a D.Min. in
Theology and Ethics and M.Div. degrees from Southwestern
Baptist Theological Seminary, and a B.A. in Sociology from
Baylor University. Dr. Ashlock was Academic Director of the
Master of Arts in Worship Leadership and Associate Professor
of Leadership Studies and Ethics at Dallas Baptist
University. Prior to going to DBU, he served as Associate
Dean for the Doctor of Ministry Program and was Associate
Professor of Pastoral Ministry at Southwestern Seminary.
Dr. Ashlock serves on the
Commission on Christian Ethics of the Baptist World
Alliance. He is widely sought after as a speaker on current
moral issues. |
