Coordinating Council

The Coordinating Council, in keeping with the core values and goals, lead in planning and coordinating the church’s activities. The Council is the forum for representatives of all church ministries to review planned events and programs, to coordinate scheduling and to work together to make Agape Baptist Church’s programs more effective and efficient. The Council may make recommendations to enhance the overall ministry and operations of the church.

Responsibilities of the Coordinating Council include:

  • Maintain and recommend modifications to core values and goals as appropriate
  • Monitor, evaluate, and coordinate achievement of the church’s goals
  • Coordinate the cross-ministry team/committee activities of the church
  • Review the alignment of resources prior to their recommendation to the church
  • Ensure an updated church calendar
  • Review and coordinate the agenda for business conferences and ensure the church is informed in accordance with the procedures specified in the church Bylaws.
