Agape Message

Friends “For it is by grace you have been saved through faith-and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God- not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God’s workman ship created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. (Ephesians 2:8-10)

Winter time is with us and many things in our world our difficult for some of our people. We praise Him for the blessings and ask for guidance as needed to meet the needs of those who suffer and face severe problems. Let us join together in praying for the needs of our world, our neighborhood and our city, state and our country.

Recently a count was made of the many who are receiving help in language from Agape Church. They found we are reaching 500. What a blessing! Please keep praying for this ministry to our neighborhood.

To help everyone know how our Global Missions Offering is growing, there are little lights on the rails at the front of the worship center. Each light represents $1,000. You can watch it grow each week. To date our offering totals $14,995. The first $3,000 will go to Kirk & Suzie to help with the part of their funding that they will now be required to furnish. The offering will be promoted through the end of February. Envelopes may be found in the pew racks or at the back of the worship center.

We are scheduled to have a Business Meeting this month. We are also scheduled to have a Fifth Sunday Evening Fellowship together. Please keep these in mind and participate to help us to enjoy and learn from working together for our church and the Lord.

Our Study of Galatians is still underway. This study is led by David Bedford and will continue through February 12. Bring your preferred English version of the Bible. You will find the study in Henderson Hall Room 203 on Sunday Morning at 9:45.

Please be in prayer for our Pastor’s Search Team. Those on the team: Alice Curtis, Olivia Lewis, Tracy Ligon (Chairman) Gerald Marsh and LynnEtte Mayo.

Extended Care January 22: Bobbie Payton and Edlyne Dickson

See You Sunday,
